File Requirements
Files must be supplied in vector format. A vectorised file is a line drawing.
The lines must be continuous, closed lines (or polylines) as the laser will follow this path. Please ensure there are no overlapping or duplicate lines as this can cause the laser to cut incorrectly.
Common formats for vector files are –
eps, ai, dxf, dwg, scv, or pdf (generated from a CAD package).
Bitmaps, Jpegs, PDF, Gif and tiff files are of no use to us in cutting.
Common software programs for generating vector files are –
- Adobe Illustrator
- Autocad
- Casmate
- Signlab
- FlexiSign
Please also indicate if your artwork is at 100% or if it requires scaling to a specified size.
If you cannot provide one of these file types, we will assume that you require design services also. The associated programming costs will be included in your quote. Please at least include a sketch, diagram or image as a bare minimum for quoting purposes.
Files can be emailed to
sales@lasermade.com.au to confirm suitability and enable your job to be cut without delay.
